Hotel New Pokhara Lodge, Lakeside offer several modes of payment to accommodate the preferences of their guests, some common options include:
Cash: Many hotels and lodges accept cash payments in the local currency or sometimes major foreign currencies. However, it’s important to note that carrying large amounts of cash may not always be advisable due to safety concerns.
Credit/Debit Cards: Hotel New Pokhara Lodge accepts major cards, including MasterCard, Visa Card, American Express, JCB Card, UnionPay, Wise Card, Indian RuPay, and any Nepali bank ATM cards. Debit cards with a credit card logo may also be accepted. Lots of other pre-paid cards with logo of Visa accepted by hotel.
Bank Transfers: New Pokhara Lodge may allow guests to make payments through bank transfers, especially for advance bookings or large group reservations.
Online Payment Platforms, Mobile Payment Apps: Phone Pay and Nepal E-sewa online mobile wallet, Indian BHIM UPI also accept here.
Traveler’s Checks: In Nepal Traveler’s Checks are not accepted.
For Indian tourists, please note that Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes are not legal tender in Nepal. However, you can carry and use Rs. 100 and Rs. 50 notes. Some Indian business owners may accept Rs. 500 notes, but they may offer a reduced exchange rate, giving you 20-30 rupees less than the full value. It is advisable to carry smaller denominations for smoother transactions.
